Foolio - Developers Linktree

As a developer, having a portfolio is almost essential. It’s how you showcase your work, your skills, and your growth over time. But the reality is, not every developer wants to spend time designing and coding a full portfolio website from scratch especially when the goal is simply to present their projects clearly. That’s what led me to build Foolio, a platform that acts like a link-in-bio tool, but specifically designed for developers.
With Foolio, users can quickly create their own portfolio by choosing from different layouts and adding structured sections like education, work experience, projects, and links. The idea is to remove the friction of building a portfolio while still giving enough flexibility to make it feel personal. Instead of starting from zero, developers can focus on what matters—showing their work.
For the tech stack, I used Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS to build a fast, responsive, and scalable application. This setup allowed me to move quickly while keeping the UI clean and consistent. One of the biggest challenges I faced during this project was integrating payments with Stripe. It was my first time working with subscriptions, and getting everything set up correctly—from handling webhooks to managing subscription states—took some deeper digging. I’m still ironing out a few details around subscriptions, but it’s very close to being fully complete.
Overall, this has been a really enjoyable project. It pushed me to think about real user needs, improve my frontend structure, and get hands-on experience with payment systems. More than anything, it reinforced the idea that good products don’t always need to be complex they just need to solve a clear problem well.
